Project Busy-ness

Been rather busy for the past few days with quite a bit of activities and work. That’s one reason there’s a big gap between entries now – oh, the network access where I am right now just plain sucks.
There’s the project to complete and now that the photography has been completed, the second part is proving to be equally difficult. In addition, there’s a whole bunch of other time-consuming, strength sapping and sleep reducing things to do. Not to mention a whole lot of birthdays every week. Hmm, I think six birthdays in a month is quite a lot of prezzies to buy and dinners to attend (and pay for). I expect October won’t be much different but hopefully the project will be completed by then (so more free time) and there are actually REAL holidays in the month of October!

What’s the project? Well, it’ll be revealed in due time so patience, grasshopper. Happy Birthday anyway to all the September babies!

Shame shame

But it is true. It reflects the kind of mentality that permeates through this entire country of Malaysia. We have the biggest bank with massive year-on-year profits but with chronic maintenance problems and lack of attention to details. How about lights that don’t work, faulty aircondiitioning, leaking sinks and toilets, Horrible network and internet connection… So what for the all the records and glorified infrastructure. Fix the little details and the rest will follow.

Where’s the ground?

OMG! It’s sooo freaking hazy that I can hardly see the road from the 44th floor here in Kay-El.

300 meter visibility??

Gray Miserable Tuesday

I need a trip!

Bad connection, gray skies, haze polluted air, insufficient sleep, wishing I was in bed on an island with blue sky and white beaches and endless project documents to complete and people to chase all add up to a day that I wish was over right now.

Question and Answer

Someone asked me about the black and silver thingy in the URC (upper right corner) of my Tiramisu photo.

Well, the answer is: Strawberry’s Canon EOS-300D. Oh yes, we had three people, and three Digital SLRs on the table.

A weekend that zipped by

Actually, almost all weekends zip by so quickly that you usually end up wondering what happened? Good food, good time and most of all, great people to hang out with. Looking forward to another weekend. I think I’ll extend some weekends considering that I’ve found that I’ve something like 31 days of leave… think I should take a day off now and then.
