Escape to Paradise

Just four more days (not counting today) of torture before I head off for four lovely days under the sun, coconut trees with beautiful corals, beaches and water… and most of all, no work and kuman.

Island Paradise

This week’s album highlight

This week’s Don’t Panik Gallery album highlight is Myanmar – the Golden Land 2004. A two week travel to Myanmar (Burma), from the Capitol Yangon to the ruins of Bagan, sailing on the Ayerwaddy river, the Shan mountains at Kalaw to the lakeside resort at Inle. You can view the photos over here.

Melaka – The historical city (food trip!)

Sometimes, people (mostly at work!) wonder why I look terrible on Monday… Usually it’s because it’s just Monday. Also, many times, it’s due to the fantastic weekend escapades that sort of leaving you happy, satisfied but rather hungover on the Monday morning that snuck up on you and the blissful weekend just vanished in a single eye-blink. Of heat, food and the Melaka adventure

Well, got back late last night from our short little escapade down south for food and photography. With slightly heavier traffic, it was slow going down to Melaka but coming back, it was pretty nice and dark. With basically lots of food and photography, it was a great trip — the only downside was the heavy hand of the weather, with the merciless sun hammering down. Photos are coming soon… (Powered by Canon) 😀

Of spam and waterfalls…

Last Sunday’s (March 13th) Chiling trip capped off an extremely packed weekend of activity! It was a great trip however, probably one of the best for me (hey I should know, I’ve been there 6 times!). With excellent weather, the sun showing her face at the right moment when we’re splashing around icy chiling waters, good food (read noodles, coffee, hot chocolate, green tea, tuna and leong yoke sandwiches, pan fried spam and sausages…), superb company, a nice campsite, a waterfall, hey what else do you need to be happy?

Olive oil, pepper, spam- Fry!
