Back from China!

-20C, icy winds and icy roads. That’s Harbin. Here’s a photo from the Snow and Ice world at Harbin. Harbin is the capital of Heilongjiang Province and is located in the middle reaches of the Songhua River in the south of the province.

Middle Kingdom…

By the time this entry is visible… I’m setting foot (or at least the aircraft should be landing) into Beijing International Airport… No entries till Feb 6, err, Feb 7th actually since by the time I get home from KLIA, it’ll be midnight.

I think Connie needs a new Camera

I think if Connie keeps this up and continues taking such excellent photos, she’s ready to move up!

p.s. Post-processing notes: Shadows/Highlights to bring out foreground in shadow, added warmth 😀

China in 48 hours

In about fourty-eight hours, I’ll be standing in Beijing, with a forty degree temperature difference! Actually, I just can’t wait! Freezing cold, ice and snow sculptures, food fit for emperors and more await! The only thing now is that I’m not really packed. Yeah, I have stuff in my bag, I have stuff on my bed and I have stuff everywhere… they’re just nowhere near a state of readiness to be on a plane. Also, I need more renmimbi so I’d probably change a bit tonight or tomorrow depending on my time. And I still have Chinese New Year cards to send out!
