EOS-20D firmware update!

Canon releases firmware version 1.0.4 for the EOS-20D. Link here. Hopefully it fixes the lockups.

Some people have reported problems with the new firmware. I noticed that Canon Japan has taken it off (from the link above) so probably wait a bit and see what happens.

Digital Negative format and Camera Raw 2.3!

Adobe releases Camera Raw 2.3 and it unofficially supports the EOS-20D. Here’s the link for Windows and Mac.

Adobe also launches a universal file format for RAW images called Digital Negative. This DNG format is supported by Camera Raw 2.3 and you can read the press release in the extended entry.
