Today, had to do some searching for a film SLR for a friend. Unbelievably, no one carries the low-end model anymore. More surprising is that many models are either End-of-life or listed as sunset models. With so many film and camera companies folding in 2004, it looks like 2005 will be the end of film as we know it. One year from now, we can look back and see if I’m right or not.

Canon releases firmware version 1.0.5 for the EOS-20D and an apology for the problems with 1.0.4.
