On a wet, dark, Saturday night…
A sobering reminder about the mortality of life. About even how to love, and love with God’s real love. Dedication, to wash, cook, feed, care, love and pray for four years till finally God calls home, for 365 days a year, 12 years – flowers in front of a photo, of the one that is loved, dearly departed. Twice a year to the gravesite. Yet help so many others, still so happy. Finally in heaven reunited.

God sent His Son
They called Him Jesus
He came to love, head and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove
My savior lives

And one day
I’ll cross the river
I’ll fight Life’s final war with pain
And then as death gives way to victory
I’ll see the lights of glory
And I’ll know He Lives
