Imagine placing your online order on Saturday night, receiving confirmation email on Monday, and picking up your order one week later on Saturday evening. Nothing special until you realize that your order comes from twelve time zones and over 8,000 miles!
Of course if you factor Malaysian customs’ lack of speed… but of course we also have DHL to thank for literally zooming the box across the oceans and through customs as well!

Wot the heck is wrong with the roads?!
I’ve no idea what happened but since Monday, April 5th, the roads have become one huge parking lot! Two hours to travel 17 kilometers ain’t fun. And DBKL is not very helpful at all! Looks like I might need my automobile MP3 player soon! Otherwise, listening to hitz.fm gets old occasionally and the DHL traffic reports on hitz usually are too late to be helpful.
Drill, Midvalley, Jaya DIY and then some
Wake up early, drive down to Midvalley, pick up some stuff from ACE hardware, then back to Casa Damansara II (Jeff’s place), make holes in the wall to mount IKEA curtain rails, then off to Section 14 to visit Eddie at Jaya DIY center and then he shows up some new fangled overdrived luxeon LED flashlight that costs a whopping RM289! Lunch at McDonalds, back to Casa and more drilling and the bloody wall must be made of adamantium for the drill not to penetrate!
Fire!
Of all bloody things to happen! A fire breaks out in C-11-6 in Casa Damansara I, which in case you’re wondering, is where I’ve invested in an apartment unit. Mine’s C-12-8 so the fire was pretty close. At 3:00am MYT, what the hell were they doing? The unit’s charred by the way!
