Looking back at your life, ask youselve this: What are the highlights of each year? This exercise is pretty simple. Get a piece of blank paper, draw a line through it and on one side, write the year, i.e. 2006, on the other side, write a highlight. Do that for a few years. You can have multiple highlights in each year. I don’t know what you wrote, but I’ve checked with many people and guess what, work never ever figured in there. Highlights were invariably events like friends, gatherings and events. No one I know put in closing that big deal or working all night balancing the accounts for that quarter. So, ready to make a choice. Life. It’s what you make of it is what you get out of it.
