Canon onslaught begins

Leaked on the Canon China website: Canon EOS 400D, with a 1.6x (APS-C) sensor, 3fps, 2.5″LCD, 9-point AF system and ISO settings from 100-1600. Shutter speeds from 30-1/4000s with a sync speed of 1/200s. The sensor has an ultrasonic dust removal feature. The EOS 30D/5D picture style modes are also included. More here.

The 400D?

EOS-30D

Well, was mostly not feeling too good over the weekend and didn’t really get much done. Did manage to get quite a bit of sleep though. Anyways, as usual, pre-PMA news aside, there’s only two new Canon cameras launched that were of any interest to me. Surprisingly, not even their new DSLR, the EOS-30D. Obviously I’m waiting for a nice full-frame camera. The 5D is still a bit on the pricey side. The two interesting cams are the Ixus 800IS and the Ixus 630.

The EOS-30D… I want full-frame now!

First Chapter

Welcome 2006 with wide open arms

First entry of 2006

As I ponder God’s goodness in 2005, I look forward with faith, hope and love for 2006. The pages of 2005 were so blessed by so many new and old people that I’ll be hard pressed to list them here… Thanks guys, gals, berries, twins, tams, JW, SW, BK, and especially to \*\*drumroll\*\* 1 like no 1, delicious driver, sweeter than honey, Magnificent, Understanding, Natural, Lovely, Exquisite, Nifty, Graceful.

As we close the chapter in this book of life, we open a new chapter. The pages are all blank, and what we write in there is entirely up to us.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006… WOOF! WOOF! (hey, who let the dogs out?)

It keeps no record of wrong doing. It does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres. icon_ltgray_close_quote
