When webservices collide…

Was checking an Amazon package I have arriving this week which I’ve been eagerly awaiting. To my surprise I noticed the DHL cargo plane landing in Ipoh! I mean I know how big Ipoh Airport is. Not very big to be precise and landing anything bigger and heavier than a 737-800 will be a challenge! Undoubtedly, that’s not the true picture so I go over to DHL’s tracking site and get my airwaybill tracked. Of course now it shows a totally different airport – Subang’s Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah which is defintely able to take most aircraft, well, at least we know a 747 Freighter will land. Someone needs to fix the webservice integration between Amazon and DHL.

Ipoh Airport???!
Much more accurate airport!
