Unbelievable but true. I don’t remember ever spending this amount of time in mall except for the few times I drove up from Madison-WI to Minneapolis to go to Mall of America. Back in Malaysia, even when watching a movie, I think I spend less than six hours in total. Anyways, we had a late lunch over at Gurney in the Gardens (the new wing of Midvalley Mall). Much pricier that the Penang counterpart but hey, you can’t compare and the taste was decent.
Imagine placing your online order on Saturday night, receiving confirmation email on Monday, and picking up your order one week later on Saturday evening. Nothing special until you realize that your order comes from twelve time zones and over 8,000 miles!
Of course if you factor Malaysian customs’ lack of speed… but of course we also have DHL to thank for literally zooming the box across the oceans and through customs as well!
Considering I can’t even get simple stuff like Petzl and MSR stoves in Malaysia… Anyways, will catch the bus after work and arrive just before midnight. And oh, EastGear has cheap digital camera batteries (compatible ones that is) so I’m going to pick some up for my upcoming Canon EOS-300D (or Digital Rebel). Oh, they also stock Nixvue image banks and Sanyo NiMH batteries.
