I’ll be moving off dontpanik.com, ekhoophotography.com onto a brand new server this coming week. As the move will entail not just the website and databases, email delivery will also be temporarily disrupted up to 24 hours for the DNS to cut-over. I’ll post another announcement when the migration is going to start. Tentative date is 1:00AM GMT on September 19th.
Just spend the last two evenings running around the nearby park and more. Looks like I’ll need to ramp it up if I’m going to be fit enough for the Yellow mountain in April. Anyways, just managed to upgrade Serendipity to 1.5.2. I’ve been slacking on this and DP was running on a 1.3.x build for quite a while. Anyways, it upgraded in like 10 minutes so everything looks fine.
I’ve also just posted photos of the Tras OA children hostel on our ministry blog over here.
Well, instead of packing into an over-crowded, over-priced and under-served establishment for New Year’s Eve, we decided on a simple home dinner affair at my aunt’s place over in Damansara Heights. Also, instead of staying till midnight to usher in the New Year, we decided to head home and watch the fireworks from our cozy little condo on the twelfth floor.

Did the peanuts suddenly grow large or did the bottles shrink? Or are they just yummy chocolate filled with cool liquor?
Unknown to me, after I created a new style sheet and design for Don’t Panik, IE users were left out. In fact the below screen shot basically shows what they see!
Of course, unbelievably, the fix is so simple, that you wonder what the hell the IE developers were doing? Turns out that I’ve a division (<DIV> tag) that doesn’t have the width specified. I don’t know why other browsers normally cascade the width down from the DIV above but not IE. Sheesh. What a waste of three hours on a Friday afternoon!
Well, yes, it’s still December but 2007 is quickly ending and there’s lots of little activities and more things to do as the year wraps up. I decided that Don’t Panik needed a slightly refreshed, cleaner and more open look and this is the result. I still need to refresh the header banners and perhaps make a small change there but the look are mostly complete.
