Look familar?

See a trend?

Looks similar to the 2007 CR-V ?
Well, since we’re still onto small SUVs, here’s the revamped 2007 Escape. Wonder if I should ask Karen when it’ll hit our shores. That said, I’d like the hybrid version if our dumb-ass government doesn’t think of some way to tax it like crazy.

Argh, a floor shifter, I want back the column shifter!

Seriously Stuck

Weighed down by 340kg of rice sacks, the soft ground gives way!

How do we get out?

Donuts and Teddy Bears

Donut?

Well, rushed back from Cyberjaya to SS3 to get new tires fitted. Replacing my rather crummy Silverstones are a spanking new set of Bridgestones. Running on the ELITE highway, I find them quite a bit better in terms of stability, ride comfort and good old handling. It’s just that they cost RM1550 for four tires!!! Oh, I also received a Bridgestone Teddy bear as a free gift. Wowzers!

Here’s the GPS location and a photo:
N 3’11.676″ E 101’59.220″ Altitude 1256 feet.

Distance from PJ is roughly 106km one way, 40km through winding hilly roads, ~17km unpaved stretches.

Kijang Jatoh tomorrow 5am!

It’s a long harsh road but a 80m waterfall is always nice to see!
Considering it’s a work day, there’s less traffic and we can come back home in time for other activities!
