Hope Tann doesn’t get this before it ripens!
Taiwanese company BenQ gives up its optical disc manufacturing business to focus on financial troubles. In the light of this, BenQ may be selling off its LCD monitor division ‘due to the low margins of the business’ as stated by Commercial Times, a Chinese financial newspaper. It doesn’t look like BenQ is in the best financial shape as they had reported losses of about $185.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2005. This was the result of restructuring costs after taking over Siemens’ handset division, also according to Digitimes.com. Ever since the takeover BenQ’s revenues have dropped as much as 13% in a particular month with decreasing sales.
After bashing around at Bentong/Sungai Dua, it’s time to do a little check-up, and clear off the mud, debris and whatever stuff that likes to accumulate in all sort of areas. Surprisingly, nothing wrong with anything, and the balancing plus alignment is as good as it gets. Hmm, I doubt I’d say the same thing if I had the original Sime tires which somehow required re-balancing every couple of months without even going off-road!

What’s it about? Well, unless you’re invited, it doesn’t matter does it? 😀
Looking back at March, I think it might be one of the most exhausting months yet. With two weddings to shoot, printing and editing work to be done, add in a new job, SEMOA and only four weekends, I realized that every single day in March started with my alarm clock, err, phone I mean. No sleeping in, and no waking up later than 7:30am! Goodness… glad it’s April, and USA here I come!
