You know, nowadays, kids growing up probably see very little of the natural world. I don’t mean forest reserves like FRIM. More likely, they don’t know how a live chicken looks like or how fruits are grown. Chickens come in plastic shrink wrap on a tray in a supermarket. Milk comes in a tetra-pak, glass or plastic bottles and Tomatoes are always juicy and red. Oh, Bananas are always yellow too. You don’t see how long nature takes to perfect the ripening process or how quirky it sometimes is nowadays… Call me nostalgic.
