There’s the usual assortment of pancake stacks, banana pancakes, chocolate sauce, ice-cream, peanut butter, gula melaka and all that sugar boost stuff…
But actually they have quite a splendid range of pancakes that you can swing by anytime of the day. Really. Breakfast, lunch or even dinner I suppose. We went for breakfast so I can’t really say much about the savory pancakes but a friend has tried them, including the giant pancakes and she says they are good! Our morning order was a typical sugar loaded, carbo experience, banana pancakes with ice-cream, chocolate-mint sauce and walnut pancakes, peanute butter pancakes and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
The pancakes themselves are well made with a light fluffy texture. Until now, I’ve not really had pancakes in a stack before (in Malaysia that is!) so this is great (and nostalgic too!). Generous toppings just basically superb and probably have your one week’s sugar intake but what the heck! There are limited seats however and the outdoor seating offers fresh air.
Elly’s Table pancakes is located on the 1st floor of Centerpoint in Bandar Utama.
Highly recommended!
p.s. this is the first food item in my blog… with more to come! 😀
